England unveil new home and away kits which will be worn by Gareth Southgate’s side for Nations League and Euro 2020

England have launched their new home and away kits ahead of their Nations League matches this month.

Gareth Southgate’s side will face Iceland on Saturday followed by Denmark next Tuesday.

The home jersey sticks to the traditional white with a dark blue crew neck and side stripes, which are both embossed with the ‘community of lions’ graphic.

The England badge and Nike swoosh are centred on the shirt, which will be paired with dark blue shorts and white socks.

The away jersey is all blue and has taken inspiration from some of the 1990s kit designs.

The shirt features an all-over graphic with the famous Three Lions standing out in red.

England also confirmed on social media that these two kits will be used at next summer’s Euro 2020, which was due to take place earlier this year before it was postponed due to coronavirus.

“This team is closer than it’s ever been before — when we put on that England jersey, all club rivalries are set aside,” said captain Harry Kane.

“We’re united in our goal of representing our fans far and wide. This collection captures that feeling of togetherness we hold so dearly.”

There is also a wider collection of pre-match shirts and training gear that has been released.

“There is a feel-good factor surrounding the England team, and we wanted to capture all that vibrancy and try some new things,” said Scott Munson, VP, Nike Football Apparel.

“The collection balances a classic home identity with an adventurous, eye-catching away kit.”

The England home and away kits are available at nike.com from September 1 and the full collection is available in all Nike and partner retail stores from September 4.
