How to watch every Premier League match on TV this season as top-fight confirm all of September’s games will be shown live

The new Premier League season is nearly upon us with the top-flight teams gearing up to go again.

The COVID-19 lockdown had unprecedented impacts on the 2019/20 campaign, forcing it to extend into July.

As a result of the remaining games last term being held behind closed doors, every fixture was broadcasted on TV.

The Premier League have now confirmed that all of September’s matches will also be shown on TV with the new campaign getting under way on Saturday, September 12.

The schedule for the first few weeks of the season has been mapped out and here is everything you need to know about the new season…

Which channels will show Premier League games?

Sky will show the majority of games once again this season – 140 in total.

Some of their games will be made free-to-air and will be confirmed at a later date. They will be shown online and on Freeview via the broadcaster’s Pick channel.

Pick is channel 159 on Sky and channel 144 on Freeview. You can also watch Sky’s coverage through Now TV.

BT Sport also has the rights to 58 games and you’ll need a subscription to watch all of those.

Amazon Prime will be broadcasting 22 games this season.

What time will the games kick off?

Kick-off times will come thick and fast throughout September before reverting back to their normal slots for the rest of the campaign.

Saturday games will be at 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm while Sundays will see matches kick-off at 12pm, 2pm, 4:30pm and 7pm.

Midweek games in September will get under way at 6pm or 8:15pm but will go back to the normal 7:45pm or 8pm later in the season.

Where can I listen to Premier League commentaries?

On talkSPORT, of course!

We will broadcast more than 120 live and exclusive Premier League games this season as radio becomes the only place for free-to-air Premier League action.

talkSPORT will once again broadcast matches live at 12.30pm, 3pm and 5.30pm on Saturdays between September and May as part of the station’s GameDay coverage, fronted by Reshmin Chowdhury.

In addition to being the fan’s home for GameDay, with three exclusive commentaries and live reporters across all matches in the Premier League every Saturday, talkSPORT will also broadcast two full match rounds on an exclusive basis in 2020/21 through December and January, with all ten Premier League matches in each round carried exclusively across the talkSPORT network.

talkSPORT will also carry other exclusive matches on Sundays and midweek evenings across the season.
