Jose Mourinho’s men were poor in their Premier League opener, losing 1-0 at home to Everton and catching much criticism for their display.
The Special One will want to see far better from his team this evening as they look to progress towards the Europa League tournament proper.
Lokomotiv Plovdiv vs Tottenham: Date and time
The Europa League tie will take place at the Stadion Lokomotiv on Wednesday, September 17 and will kick off at 5pm UK time.
This will be the first meeting between the two clubs.
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 lockdown, this will be a single leg clash while the third qualifying round will be held on September 24.

The match will be shown live on Premier Sports 2 with their coverage starting at 4:55pm.
All three of Spurs’ Europa League qualifying matches will be shown on Premier Sports.

Tottenham trained with a full squad ahead of their European trip to Bulgaria.
Giovani Lo Celso was present after he missed Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Everton with a hamstring injury.
The likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura were all present as boss Mourinho looks set to travel with a strong squad.
Mourinho did say Tanguy Ndombele is not fit enough to start, but his process is a ‘positive’ one.
Japhet Tanganga remains out with a thigh injury.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho: “The Europa League has some very good teams, some teams are dropping from the Champions League.
“Yesterday for example I think it was AZ Alkmaar and Benfica who dropped from Champions League qualifiers to the Europa League. Later in December some other teams will drop from the Champions League to the Europa League.
“The Europa League is a very hard competition to win, but if you qualify to the group stage, which is the most important and difficult thing now, we get six matches to play for points, no knockouts.
“I think we are strong enough to go over that.
On tonight’s tie, he added: “I think Lokomotic Plovdiv and Tottenham were both very unlucky with the draw.
“Lokomotiv could have a much easier opponent than us and we could also have a much easier opponent. As a seeded team they could have much, much easier than Tottenham and unseeded teams, there were many with much less potential than Lokomotiv.
“We are both in a difficult position. It is only one game, not two, with two games the situation would be different. With one match, one decision, everything is decided tomorrow, I think it is a difficult match and we are going to give them the respect they deserve from us.
“We are going there knowing it is black or white, there is no other option, you win or lose, you are in or out. We go with the intention of being in the next round. I believe it is a good competition to develop my team and try to win it.”
