Leeds, Newcastle and West Ham have all reportedly made approaches for Inter Milan winger Joao Mario.
Mario has been made surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte and is believed to have been listed for sale.
Portuguese outlet O Jogo claim that the three Premier League clubs have shown an interest in the 27-year-old.
The Portugal international spent last season on loan with Lokomotiv Moscow but they were said to be unwilling to pay the £12million (€13m) Inter were asking for.
West Ham also had him on loan for the second half of the 2017/18 season where he scored twice in 13 Premier League appearances.
Hammers fans may not be too happy to see him back, however, as he took a swipe at the club following his move back to Inter.
Having previously been critical of the Serie A club, Mario apologised for his behaviour while also blaming fans in the Premier League for his poor spell in England.
“Obviously I’m sorry,” he said. “You learn from mistakes and that was a mistake.
“I have to respect a team like Inter who spent so much to sign me, and I’m very happy to have been given a second chance here.
“The Inter fans were also crucial. For them I was both an idol and a bad player. It would be great if I found the right balance.
“I’ve been in England and they’re all too quiet there. I prefer the warmth of our fans.”
Leeds, Newcastle and West Ham will face competition from Galatasaray, Real Betis and Valencia though, with the three European clubs all said to be in the race to sign Mario.
