Josh King missed Bournemouth’s win against Coventry with a ‘migraine headache’ amid speculation over his future.
Cherries boss Jason Tindall confirmed the forward’s absence in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

King, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Aston Villa, was not missed as goals from Jefferson Lerma and Dan Golsing (2) secured a 3-1 victory over Coventry.
The result saw Bournemouth maintain their unbeaten start to the Championship season and climb to the top of the table.
King was a second-half substitute in last weekend’s 1-0 win against Norwich and had trained with his teammates as normal leading up to the Coventry clash.
But his matchday absence looks set to raise further questions about his future.
He had been a target for Tottenham, but they appear to have ended their pursuit after announcing the loan signing of Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius.

King came close to rejoining Manchester United in January as Bournemouth rejected a bid of around £20million.
In September, the 28-year-old admitted it would be ‘amazing’ if the Red Devils were still interested in signing him.
He told Norwegian outlet TV2: “I will not lie, because I really wanted to go there in January, but what happened, happened.
“I know why things happened. We’ll just have to wait and see. There is a lot that is open. I have a dream to play in the Champions League.
“Whether it will happen this season or in two years, I do not know. But I have a dream about it that all boys have.
“What if United are still interested? That would be amazing. I was at United for five years and I learned lot there.”
