Arsene Wenger has slammed Jose Mourinho for his ‘constant provocation’ in their latest row.
The two legendary managers shared an intense rivalry during their time in charge of Chelsea and Arsenal.
Wenger’s Arsenal managed just two victories against Mourinho’s Chelsea and Manchester United in 19 meetings.
The pair even got into a physical altercation when Wenger pushed Mourinho on the Stamford Bridge touchline in 2014.
Despite their public fallouts, Mourinho fails to be mentioned in Wenger’s new book, ‘My Life in Red and White’.
On Friday, when asked about his omission, the Tottenham boss said: “Because he never beat me.
“You are not going to do a chapter about 13 or 14 matches that you never win, so why should he speak about me in his book?
“A book is a thing to make you happy and proud so I perfectly understand the situation.”
Wenger appeared to be less than impressed by Mourinho’s comments, insisting he felt like he was in ‘kindergarten’ with the Portuguese coach.
“It doesn’t bother me,” he told Canal+ on Sunday. “It is constant provocation.
“I feel like I’m in kindergarten with him, but that’s part of his personality.
“It’s wrong, we beat him twice. We won, and there were also a lot of draws.
“And it is not ‘you’ who wins, you only participate in the victory. It is ‘us’ who win. The manager is there to get the most out of a team.”
