Jurgen Klopp’s men saw off fellow title challengers Leicester 3-0 last Sunday but did suffer a shock Champions League defeat to Atalanta in midweek.

Brighton, meanwhile, returned to winning ways last time out as they claimed a fine 2-1 victory at Aston Villa.

The Seagulls are only just above the relegation zone and need to keep picking up points.

Liverpool won this fixture 3-1 last season and have beaten Brighton nine times on the bounce.

talkSPORT will be in attendance to see if the champions can keep that run going or if Brighton will pull off a shock.
