Hundreds of Celtic fans protested outside their home ground calling for under-fire boss Neil Lennon to be sacked after Sunday’s disastrous 2-0 defeat at the hands of Ross County.
The result has heaped further pressure on Lennon following a dreadful run of form which has yielded just two wins from their last 10 games.
Ross Stewart’s 39th-minute penalty and Alex Iacovitti’s late header earned County a deserved second-round win to ensure Celtic’s run of domestic success will finish this season.
And some fans have seemingly seen enough, with disturbing footage appearing online of supporters clashing with the Scottish authorities.
Lennon admitted after the game that his board’s support in him may now waver after this type of result.
He confirmed: “If you keep losing games, absolutely. There’s expectation at this club, there’s a demand for excellence and there’s a demand for wins.
“I am fully aware of that and I’m not standing here like a happy-clapper saying: ‘everything’s OK’.

“It’s not. But we’ll do all we can, if I’ve still got the opportunity to do that, to turn things around.
“I think today’s result wouldn’t have helped, put it that way.”
