Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti to raid Napoli again for Arkadiusz Milik with Tottenham also keen on signing striker

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is planning to raid his former club Napoli for Arkadiusz Milik, according to reports.

The Italian coach brought Allan from the San Paolo to Goodison Park in a £21million deal during the summer transfer window.

And now, The Sun claim Ancelotti, who bossed Napoli for 18 months from May 2018, wants to add Milik to his attacking options in January.

And the Toffees could land the Poland striker for a cut-price deal in the region of £10m with his contract expiring next summer, but will face competition from Tottenham.

Spurs signed on Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan from Benfica to provide cover for Harry Kane.

But the permanent signing of Milik could be a long-term solution to the club’s lack of strikers.

Meanwhile, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has scored 11 goals this season, and Cenk Tosun are Everton’s only out-and-out senior strikers following Moise Kean’s loan exit to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Tosun is unwanted on Merseyside and spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace.

The Turkey forward has managed just ten goals since completing a £27m move to Everton from Besiktas in January 2018 and is being linked with a return to his homeland.

Besiktas president Ahmet Nur Ceti said: “I want to rejuvenate the team with better players and I want to sign a striker.

“Cenk Tosun has come to the fore and he’s a player I’d like to try to sign if there’s a chance.”
