Marcus Rashford has revealed that he shared a conversation with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson after Manchester United’s 3-1 win at Everton on Saturday.
The Red Devils striker has been heavily praised for his campaign this year to end child food poverty across the country.

Back in June, Rashford was hailed as ‘inspiration’ when he was successful in his campaign to force a government U-turn over free school meals for vulnerable children.
More recently, he has inspired over a million people to sign a petition calling on the government to expand access to free meals in school holidays for struggling families.
And now, he has made further progress by making direct contact with Boris Johnson.
Rashford tweeted on Saturday evening: “Just had a great conversation with the Prime Minister, now is the time for collaboration.”

Earlier this week, talkSPORT got behind Rashford’s campaign to by staging a FareShare takeover.
FareShare, the UK’s largest charity fighting hunger, has feeding hungry children since 1994.
