The 2020/21 Champions League group stages came to an end last week and attention is now on the knockout phase of Europe’s elite competition.
The Champions League has been filled with goals and drama this season and that looks set to continue as we go into the last 16 stage.
Big guns Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Juventus have qualified as group winners, meaning they will be seeded.
Manchester United, though, failed to make it through and have been condemned to the Europa League.
Other major names – including Lionel Messi’s Barcelona – finished as runners-up and we could see some huge ties await us in the next round.
The final will be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on May 29, 2021.
