Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher had to replace his shirt at half-time because of a spelling mistake in Sunday’s 4-0 win over Wolves.
The 22-year-old followed up his midweek clean sheet against Ajax in the Champions League with another shutout in the thrashing of Wolves.
But eagle-eyed viewers noticed the name on the back of his shirt was spelt incorrectly in the first-half.
The name on the shirt read ‘Kellher’, which clearly missed an ‘e’ before the ‘h’ letter.
The mistake was addressed at half-time and Kelleher appeared with the correct spelling of his name for the second-half.
Kelleher kept the match goalless when he superbly tipped Daniel Podence’s clever chip wide of the post in the 17th minute.
And his save proved invaluable as strikes from Mohamed Salah, Georginio Wijnaldum, Joel Matip and an own goal from Nelson Semedo saw Liverpool remain level on points with Premier League leaders Tottenham.
Kelleher is being selected ahead of Adrian to deputise for Liverpool’s injured No.1 Alisson, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem.
And the Cork-born stopper is repaying the faith put into him by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp so far.
