Six Premier League stars feature among the top ten most valuable footballers in the world.
Man City and England winger Raheem Sterling comes in at second and is joined by two of his countrymen in valuations compiled by Transfermarkt.

Sterling has been a consistent scorer for City over the past few years and has already netted eight times in just 17 appearances this season.
Surprisingly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo do not make Transfermarkt’s top test most valuable players list – most likely due to the fact they are getting on in years.

Haaland is one of Europe’s most dangerous strikers, despite being only 20 years old.
Since joining Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January, he has scored an impressive 23 goals in as many Bundesliga games.
Real Madrid have been linked with a summer move for the Norway striker, who could be a ready-made replacement for Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.

=9. Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid) – £91.8million
Felix became one of the world’s most expensive players when he signed for Atletico Madrid in a £113m deal from Benfica in 2019.
However, he managed to score just nine goals in his debut season in Spain.
He’s performed better this term, however, and at the age of 21 time is on his side to fulfil his potential in European football.

8. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) – £101million
Alexander-Arnold has gone from strength to strength since making his Liverpool debut in 2016.
He has helped the Reds win a sixth European Cup and also their first ever Premier League title.
The England full-back registered a whopping 13 assists as Liverpool lifted their first top-flight championship in 30 years last season.

The Belgium playmaker continues to score and assist on a consistent basis season after season.

Kane is loving life under Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
In 18 appearances this season the Spurs striker has been directly involved in 27 goals, more than he recorded in 34 games last term (26).
It is an incredible stat considering some football fans feared for Kane when Mourinho took charge last year.

Salah wrote himself into the Liverpool history books against Midtjylland on Wednesday.
He scored his 22nd Champions League goal to become the club’s all-time leading scorer in the competition.
His record in all competitions is world class, also, with 106 goals in only 170 appearances for Liverpool.

Salah’s goals can sometimes mean Mane is overlooked in a star-studded Liverpool team.
However, the Senegal winger is arguably just as important as Salah – with some even claiming he is actually Liverpool’s best player.
Arriving for a bargain £34m from Southampton in 2016, Mane has been developed into a world class attacker under Jurgen Klopp.

Despite being the world’s most expensive player following his £198m move to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in 2017, Neymar is not the most valuable footballer right, according to Transfermarkt.
However, he is still one of the world’s best players and has an incredible goal record in the Champions League.
He has scored 65 times in only 95 appearances in Europe’s premier competition.

Sterling has won two Premier League titles, four EFL Cups and an FA Cup since moving to Man City in 2015.
He is a regular starter under Guardiola, who likes to shuffle his pack on a game-by-game basis, and is one of the first names on the team sheet for England.
It’s no surprise he’s the second most valuable footballer in the entire world right now!

1. Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain) – £165million
Similarly to Haaland, Mbappe continues to be linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old cost Paris Saint-Germain £162m in 2018, so any potential transfer is very likely to eclipse that fee.
Mbappe is scoring for fun in France with 61 goals in 58 games, but there is a wide-held belief he needs to test himself in a more competitive league.
