Bruno Fernandes had been practicing extra free-kicks in training ahead of his stunning winner for Manchester United in their 3-2 FA Cup victory over Liverpool, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed.
The Portugal playmaker stunned the Reds late on with an inch-perfect free-kick to send United into the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Fernandes has been sensational since his £67million switch from Sporting last January, scoring 28 goals in 51 appearances for the Red Devils during his year at Old Trafford.
And Solskjaer has said the 26-year-old’s incredible strike against Liverpool was no fluke, revealing he stayed behind in training just a day before to practice his dead ball situations.
Speaking after the final whistle, Solskjaer said: “Great goal, a good free-kick,” the United boss told BBC when asked to comment on the deciding moment of the match.
“When you leave him out, like I had to do today, he stayed about 45 minutes after training yesterday shooting free-kicks. So I was quite confident he’d hit the target today.

“He’s never happy with me when I tell him to go inside if he’s playing the day after, so he got some practice.”
Fernandes’ free-kick secured Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his first triumph against Jurgen Klopp’s men.
A week on from a tense goalless Premier League draw at Anfield between the Premier League leaders and reigning champions, an empty Old Trafford hosted a far more entertaining encounter between these old foes.
Mohamed Salah’s fine opener was cancelled out by Mason Greenwood in an entertaining first half which was followed by a similar pulsating second period on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford coolly put United ahead only for Salah to level with his second of the match, setting up a grandstand finish in which star man Fernandes came off the bench to score a super free-kick winner.
