Roy Hodgson remains relaxed over Wilfried Zaha’s Crystal Palace future following renewed transfer interest.
Reports claim Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan want to sign the Eagles winger in this month’s January transfer window.
Zaha, whose contract runs until 2023, has scored eight goals in 14 Premier League matches this season.
The Sun say Palace believe incoming PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino will try to sign Zaha having failed to bring him to Tottenham during his five-year reign.
Milan, who are currently top of Serie A, are also said be eyeing Zaha as they look to boost their attack.
Despite the rumours, Hodgson expects the 28-year-old’s fine form to continue for Palace.
He said: “There has been so much speculation regarding Wilf over the years that I tend to let those concerns disappear, as they often do.
“Wilf’s good and it doesn’t surprise me that there’s clubs out there who would like to sign him, but a lot of things have to be put in place before a player leaves a club.
“I’m just happy at the moment that Wilf is playing as he is, displaying his discipline and concentration and his passion for football and the club, and unless I’m given a reason to think otherwise, I expect that to keep going.”
Palace have won just one of their last eight league matches and host struggling Sheffield United on Saturday.
The Blades are bottom of the table having failed to record a single victory so far this season.
