Arsenal travel to Aston Villa on Saturday in the hope of regaining some momentum following their defeat to Wolves in midweek – and you can follow the match LIVE on talkSPORT.
Mikel Arteta’s men were beaten last time out in what what was one of the most controversial Premier League matches of the season so far.
Arsenal fans, players and even Mikel Arteta were left absolutely seething that David Luiz was sent off in the match at Molineux.
The Gunners were leading 1-0 when defender Luiz was dismissed in first-half stoppage time after conceding a penalty having being adjudged to have fouled Willian Jose while making no attempt to play the ball.
The club appealed against the decision, but the Football Association says the 33-year-old’s card stands, meaning he will miss the Villa game.
Arteta has urged his side to forget about the defeat and do their best to get a result at Villa Park.
But what is the team news and how could they line up at the Emirates? talkSPORT.com takes a look…
Team news
Third choice goalkeeper Alex Runarsson is in line for a full Premier League debut at Villa after Bernd Leno was sent off in the clash against Wolves.
Leno is banned while January loan signing Mat Ryan has a hip injury which has prevented him from training of late.
The Iceland international moved to the Emirates Stadium from Dijon in the summer but has been limited to four appearances in the Europa League and a start in the Carabao Cup quarter-final loss to Manchester City.
It was the game against City in which he made two errors and was widely questioned on social media about whether he was good enough to play for the Gunners.
Luiz, meanwhile, will likely be replaced in the heart of defence by Gabriel Magalhaes, who will hope to force his way back into Arteta’s plans having found himself sidelined in recent weeks.
Kieran Tierney remains a doubt for the clash after Arteta revealed he ‘was not close at all’ to being ready for the Wolves game.
Arteta also has a huge call in whether to bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back into the XI.
Nicolas Pepe has stepped up his game in recent weeks and thrived on the left wing, so Arteta could relegate Alexandre Lacazette to the bench for the clash.
