Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s absence was felt as Everton were beaten 2-0 at home to struggling Fulham on Sunday.
The Toffees striker, who has scored 18 goals this season, was ruled out of the clash with a hamstring injury as Carlo Ancelotti’s side extended their winless Premier League run at Goodison Park to four games.

Josh Maja, who was making his full Fulham debut since joining on loan from Bordeaux in the January transfer window, scored a second-half brace to secure a first league win in 13 matches for Scott Parker’s men.
The result saw Everton miss the chance to go level on points with fourth-placed Liverpool, while Fulham are now seven points from safety.
Fulham threatened early on when Bobby Decordova-Reid headed Ademola Lookman’s corner on to the post.
Former Everton winger Lookman and Harrison Reed also went close for the Cottagers, who dominated Everton for large parts of the encounter.

It took Everton until the 34th minute to have their first meaningful chance of the game when Seamus Coleman was given time and space to fire a 20-yard shot on to a post.
Everton could have counted themselves fortunate not to be behind at half-time, however, Fulham eventually broke the deadlock three minutes after the restart.
Ola Aina played a smart one-two with Lookman as the full-back’s low cross was turned in by Maja.
The 22-year-old striker struck again in the 65th minute when he had another tap-in after Reed’s shot had cannoned off the post and into his path.

Despite being 2-0 down, Everton’s lack of goal threat was telling without Calvert-Lewin, who is expected to return for Wednesday’s match against Man City.
The Toffees had the ball in the back of the net when substitute Josh King connected with Andre Gomes’ cross, however, it was correctly ruled out for offside.
