Erling Haaland found the net once again for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, but found himself embroiled in controversy as a result.
The 20-year-old Norweigian phenom was confronted by a Hoffenheim player after finishing fantastically while an opponent was down injured.
Hoffenheim were 2-1 up at the Westfalenstadion with just ten minutes remaining when the incident happened.
Jadon Sancho had initially given BVB the lead, but the visitors fought back with goals from Mu’nas Dabbur and Ihlas Bebou.
It was Dabbur who went down injured as the result of a collision with a Dortmund defender, though no foul was awarded by the referee.
Hoffenheim had possession and oddly slowed play down, but did not at any point make an attempt to put the ball out.
Then, a poor touch from Sebastian Rudy released Haaland to run through on goal.
As expected, he did not miss the gifted chance and fired home a crucial equaliser.
Though most Hoffenheim players accepted their fate, defender Stefan Posch took issue with the goal.
He charged over to Haaland and began a shoving match with the youngster’s teammates flying in to defend him.
Ultimately the goal was given and the game ended 2-2.
