Manchester United fan slams ‘dross’ football under Solskjaer and tells talkSPORT he’d take Jose Mourinho, Louis van Gaal AND David Moyes over Ole

Manchester United have over the last few weeks been playing worse football than at any other time in the past THREE DECADES.

This is the view of Red Devils fan John, who says he’s had enough of seeing them play following their uninspiring goalless draw at Crystal Palace.

The Red Devils are still second in the table but club legend Gary Neville has warned Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side that they may be ‘sleepwalking’ into a fight to keep their place in the top four.

But John believes the situation is far worse, claiming Man United’s ‘dross’ football is the worst he’s seen since he first started supporting the Red Devils in the early 1980s.

John clearly isn’t a fan of Solskjaer, either, insisting he’d rather have predecessors Jose Mourinho, Louis Van Gaal or David Moyes in charge instead.

He told talkSPORT’s Sports Bar: “I’ve been watching United since the early 80s and I’ve seen the dross from 86-89… I have never witnessed more dross than over the last few weeks.

On Mourinho, Van Gaal and Moyes, John added: “I tell you what, I’d take all of them ahead of this fella.”

It wasn’t just Solskjaer who was on the end of John’s criticism – the fan then picked out Marcus Rashford, saying the forward was an ’embarrassment to the shirt’, as well as midfielder Fred.

Next up for the Red Devils is a trip to rivals Manchester City, who are 14 points ahead of them at the top of the Premier League.

And John says he can’t bear the thought of watching the side he’s followed for 35 years again.

He added: “We’ve got a fella in the middle of the park, Fred, who couldn’t pass a parcel. We’ve got a fella called Marcus Rashford – he was an embarrassment to that shirt.

“Marcus Rashford hasn’t put a stint in for about a year, Andy. Stop putting the blinkers on!

“I broke my kid’s heart tonight, I told him I hate watching on Sundays; not because I think City will batter us but I just can’t have another 90 minutes watching that, it’s draining. I’ve been watching them for 35 years.

“Bruno Fernandes has been carrying that team for so long, he looks knackered.”
