Juventus are keen on bolstering their defence this summer with Alex Telles at the top of their list, reports suggest.
According to Calciomercato the Italian side are looking for reinforcements in the left-back department and would be willing to trade one of their most valuable players in Adrien Rabiot to get their hands on United’s Brazilian full-back.
Rabiot, who joined back in 2019 hasn’t set the world on fire since joining and there are rumours that some people at the club aren’t happy with his recent performances.
After crashing out of the Champions League and poor displays in the Serie A that leaves them fourth in the league, 10 points off leaders Inter Milan, clearly some change is needed in Turin.
Telles could be the man to make a difference, the left-back would provide some creativity and pace to the left flank.
There are reports of him currently being unhappy with his playing time due to the emergence of Luke Shaw and a move could be on the cards.
Talking exclusively to talkSPORT, Trevor Sinclair spoke on how well Shaw has been performing recently, saying: “I’ve been a big fan of his this season, I think he’s been exceptional.
“He’s come round, he looks fitter. People talk about his body shape. It doesn’t matter what shape he is if he’s getting the distances in and he’s fit. I think he’s a great player.
“I fancy him for the England squad in the Euros, I’ve got to be honest, because I actually feel he’s doing better than Ben Chilwell.”
Rabiot could be the missing piece the Red Devils are looking for to get to the next level.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have been performing brilliantly this season however are yet to bring home any major silverware since his arrival in 2018.
The French midfielder would provide some more quality to an already star studded United side.
