Chris Wood ‘could fit into West Ham’s side without hesitation’, insists Trevor Sinclair.
The Burnley striker has hit double figures in goals for four consecutive season since arriving from Leeds in 2017.

West Ham are likely to be in the market for a new striker with Michail Antonio the club’s only number nine following the January departure of Sebastien Haller to Ajax.
And former Hammers midfielder Sinclair believes Wood could be the answer for David Moyes’ side.
He told talkSPORT: “You look at what David Moyes has built at West Ham over the last 12, 18 months and Chris Wood could fit into a side like that with no hesitation.
“Whether a club is going to pay the money, I’m not sure what he’d cost, but you’d only know if you give him the opportunity.
“It’s whether someone is going to pay the money because he is obviously the talisman.”
With West Ham edging closer to securing European football next season, Sinclair is unsure whether Wood, 29, would be able to step up to that level.

He said: “It’s the fourth season that he’s got double figures in a well-organised Burnley team. That’s good going.
“Age is probably going against him – he’s 29 now. But if you look at the last 14 goals Burnley have scored, he’s been involved in 11 of them.
“His involvement – eight goals and three assists – it’s massive to the team.
“I’ve been a bit disappointed, I know he’s had injury problems this year, but Ashley Barnes hasn’t featured so much with his goals or availability.
“But Wood has stepped up and he has a good relationship with [Matej] Vydra in that final third.
“He does a good job. But whether he’s good enough to step up to a bigger club, I’m not sure.”
