Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has labelled their search for a new manager ‘a joke’ after the club pulled out of talks with Gennaro Gattuso.
Meanwhile, the talkSPORT pundit also questioned Daniel Levy’s handling of the situation, as the club are forced to search for another candidate.

Spurs moved their sights onto legendary Italy midfielder Gattuso after their attempts to land ex-Roma boss Paulo Fonseca collapsed.
But just a day later it was reported they were no longer interested in the former Napoli boss, after fans railed against the appointment.
Controversial comments he has made in the past about women in football, same-sex marriage and racism went viral on social media and by Thursday night #NoToGattuso was trending thanks to supporters.

They have already failed in attempts to secure the services of Hansi Flick, Julian Nagelsmann, Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochetino, Erik ten Hag, and Fonseca.

And O’Hara took to Twitter to vent his frustration about the process and chairman Daniel Levy’s handling of the situation.
The talkSPORT pundit wrote on Twitter: “Honestly what the hell is going on at Spurs?
“It’s an absolute embarrassment right now, does Levy actually know what he’s doing?
“The merry-go-round of trying to get a manager is a joke, he has zero clue of how we’re going to move forward as a club.”
Spurs have at least made one appointment this summer, with Fabio Paratici joining as their new managing director.
He will continue to spearhead their managerial search but this is an early blow in his tenure which may also have undermined the trust Spurs fans have in him.
The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust weighed in on the situation and revealed they had passed on concerned messaged from fans to the club.
They said in a post on Twitter: “As ever, it isn’t wise for us to comment on speculation.
“However, we can and do communicate supporter sentiment to the decision makers at the Club, and have done so very clearly on this occasion.
“We are aware of and acting on your concerns around potential managerial candidates.”

Tottenham chairman hailed his new employee Paratici when his arrival was announced but this latest development will be a major setback.
He said: “I’ve known Fabio for a number of years and he brings with him a wealth of experience in scouting, youth and football operations.
“He has an outstanding track record in assembling competitive squads. As we all know, Juventus have been a highly successful club and he has been a major part of that.
“He will be a great addition to the management structure. I am delighted that he will be heading up the football side of the Club as we look ahead to next season.”
