Sweden surprisingly finished top of Group E, ahead of second-placed Spain. The other teams to have finished second are Wales, Denmark, Austria, Croatia and Germany.

However, it being a 24-team tournament, third place can be enough to advance to the next stage.

The best four teams who finished third from the six groups will continue their European adventure but who are the lucky four?

Slovakia and Finland were the two to miss out having amassed just three points from their group matches.
