Manchester United are looking to get one over on their former manager Jose Mourinho by signing Bournemouth star David Brooks.
Tottenham and the Red Devils are both interested in the £40million midfielder, and they were given a boost as Bournemouth revealed all of their players are up for sale this summer.
New manager Jason Tindall told the Bournemouth Echo: “We as a football club have got a value of what we believe for our players.
“And if that value is met then players have got the opportunity to then discuss with whoever they need to discuss with and then make the decision they feel is right for them.”
The Cherries dropped down to the Championship following a disappointing Premier League campaign.
Tindall, Bournemouth’s former assistant manager, took control of the reins following Eddie Howe’s departure in July.
Bournemouth’s squad is likely to be carved up this summer with Nathan Ake already joining Man City in a £41million deal and Aaron Ramsdale returning to Sheffield United.
Ryan Fraser left on a free transfer after refusing to sign a new contract while Callum Wilson and Josh King have also been linked with moves away from Dean Cout.
Brooks, 23, is also in line to depart with Man United and Tottenham showing the most interest so far.
With United seemingly unable to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer they will turn to one of their other targets.
It would also provide the chance for Ed Woodward to get one over on ex-manager Mourinho who is said to be keen on the highly-rated Wales international.
