Leicester City have gone top of the Premier League table, albeit after just two games of the new season.
Brendan Rodgers’ side won 3-0 at West Brom on the opening weekend and followed the result up with a 4-2 triumph against Burnley on Sunday.
Burnley took the lead after 11 minutes when their positive start was rewarded.
Charlie Taylor’s deep cross found Wood and he took a touch before outmuscling James Justin to fire into the corner from close range.
Leicester levelled after 20 minutes when Harvey Barnes scored his first goal since March, rolling into the corner after Dennis Praet’s cutback.
The Foxes ended the first half on top and went ahead five minutes after the break when Erik Pieters turned Timothy Castagne’s cross into his own net.
James Justin made it 3-1 to the hosts when he swept in after Ayoze Perez’s deflected cross fell into his path.
Dunne pulled a goal back for Burnley with 17 minutes left as he headed in McNeil’s free-kick.
But Leicester restored their two-goal cushion six minutes later when Praet smashed an effort past Pope from 18 yards.
The two-goal gap behind the sides proving crucial as it put the Foxes top of the league by one on goal difference.
