Anyway, here’s Wonderwall! Chelsea’s Jorginho leads singalong as Italy belt out Oasis classic

Jorginho has been called a lot of things during his time at Chelsea – but a talented musician is certainly not one of them.

The Italian playmaker has been filmed singing Oasis’ hit number ‘Wonderwall’ while on international duty.

And somewhat surprisingly, the 28-year-old also showed he he’s a dab hand on the guitar, much to the amusement of his teammates, including veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini.

The Gallagher brothers must be popular in Italy, given the entire squad joined Jorginho in belting out the Brit Pop classic.

Jorginho is Chelsea’s vice captain and Frank Lampard often speaks highly of his leadership skills, and it’s clear to see the Italian is a popular figure in the dressing room for both club and country.

Who knew he could play guitar?

On the pitch, Jorginho has been supersonic for Chelsea so far this season, netting three penalties as the Blues have picked up seven points from their opening four matches.

Nevertheless, Frank Lampard will be troubled with the news that his latest arrival, Edouard Mendy, picked up an injury on international duty with Senegal.

The Blues brought in Mendy from Rennes last month in a £20million deal and he impressed in his opening matches against Tottenham and Crystal Palace.

However, the 28-year-old is facing some time on the sidelines after the Senegalese Football Federation confirmed he had suffered an injury to his right thigh during a training session on Wednesday.

It is understood the former Rennes man will miss Senegal’s fixtures against Morocco and Mauritania.

If Mendy’s injury is more serious than expected, Lampard will once again have to choose between Kepa Arizzabalaga and Willy Caballero in goal – a decision that is becoming all too familiar for the Blues boss.
