European heavyweight Portugal and Spain meet tonight in an all-star international friendly in Lisbon.
This game will be a warm-up for both side’s upcoming Nations League ties as Portugal face France and Spain take on Switzerland over the weekend.

First Cristiano Ronaldo and co will host the former World Cup champions as the Iberian neighbours face off.
As well as Ronaldo, Man United’s Bruno Fernandes, new Liverpool signing Diogo Jota, Arsenal’s Daniel Ceballos and rising Barcelona star Ansu Fati are set to start.
It should be an exciting match despite it’s ‘friendly’ tag and here’s all you need to know about it.
Portugal v Spain: Date and kick-off time
This friendly will be held at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon on Wednesday, October 7 and will kick-off at 7:45pm.
These two last met at the 2018 World Cup when Ronaldo scored a stunning hat-trick to secure a point for Portugal in a 3-3 group stage draw.
Spain have not beaten their near neighbours since the Round of 16 at the 2010 World Cup, winning 1-0 thanks to David Villa. They went on to claim the title.

The game is being broadcast on Sky Sports Football from 7:40pm and will follow their coverage of Denmark vs the Faroe Islands.

With more than 100 international goals to his name and a host of records, the Juventus forward is chasing down another milestone.
Iran’s Ali Daei scored 109 goals in 149 caps during his career before retiring in 2006 and the record is something 35-year-old Ronaldo has been gunning for.
Speaking in November when he scored goal no.99 for Portugal, he said: “All records must be broken and I will beat that record.”
Ronaldo, who helped Portugal to win the 2016 Euros and last summer’s Nations League, now has 101 goals from 165 appearances.
