‘Why are you so rattled?’ – Gabriel Agbonlahor hits back at Leeds’ dig following win over Aston Villa

Gabby Agbonlahor says Leeds need to stop getting ‘rattled’ by pundits after the club’s official account took a dig at him on Twitter.

The Whites beat Agbonlahor’s former side Aston Villa 3-0 on Friday night to end their 100 per cent start to the season.

The ex-Villa striker clearly irked Leeds when he called their manager a ‘myth’.

He also urged pundits to ‘get out of Marcelo Bielsa’s a***’ but Agbonlahor probably watched on in horror as Patrick Bamford netted a hat-trick.

As you can imagine, Leeds took great pleasure in ruining Agbonlahor’s Friday night.

They tweeted his comments alongside an image of Bamford celebrating his third goal, with the caption: “How it started… how it ended.”

The talkSPORT pundit had a dig back at Leeds saying they need to get used to it as they are in the big league now.

Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: “How can a club the size of Leeds, this big club, be so affected by a tweet from Gabby Agbonlahor?

“I’m getting messages from Leeds fans saying I’m a has-been and this and that and I totally agree, so why are you so rattled by something that I’ve tweeted.

Gabby Agbonlahor says Leeds United's plaudits are hasty and everybody needs to calm down

“I don’t see a club like Manchester City or Manchester United when they win a game the talk is about a pundit saying their manager is a myth.

“You’ve got to expect that. You’re in the big league. You are going to get ex-players who are going to try and wind up Leeds and try and put them off their game.

“It’s part of being in the big league and the big time.”
