Arturo Vidal let his temper get the better of him in Inter Milan’s 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Already trailing to a seventh-minute Eden Hazard penalty, Inter had a spot-kick shout of their own when Vidal appeared to be fouled by Raphael Varane.
However, Premier League referee Anthony Taylor booked the midfielder for diving, which left him seething.
An irate Vidal then confronted Taylor while appearing to shout at him.
Subsequently, Taylor brandished a second yellow card to end Vidal’s evening in the 33rd minute.
It got worse for Inter as Madrid doubled their lead through Rodrygo, who scored with his first touch after coming on just before the hour mark.
The 19-year-old volleyed home Lucas Vazquez’s cross to leave Inter’s hopes of progressing to the knockout stages in tatters.
Inter are bottom of the group and five points off second-placed Real Madrid with two games to go.
For Vidal, he has now been sent off for THREE different clubs in the Champions League.
The Chile international has seen red while playing for Bayern Munich, Barcelona and now Inter.
