Liverpool will be sweating on the fitness of Andy Robertson with the left-back absent from Scotland’s squad to face Slovakia on Sunday.
Scotland boss Steve Clarke revealed that Robertson was struggling with a hamstring problem ahead of the match.
“Andy Robertson is the most doubtful out of the ones who have a wee question mark over them,” Clarke said.
The full-back was the notable absentee from the squad when the teams were announced ahead of the 2pm kick-off.
The news is only likely to add frustration for Jurgen Klopp who has already seen three of his four starting defenders pick up injuries in recent weeks.
Virgil van Dijk picked up a serious knee injury in the Merseyside derby that required surgery and he is expected to miss a significant amount of time.

Klopp lamented the fixture congestion and not being able to make five substitutes as Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up a muscle injury against Man City shortly before the international break.
Liverpool’s problems were further exacerbated when Joe Gomez picked up a serious injury during England’s training earlier in the week and he’s already had surgery.
Gomez is also likely to miss a significant amount of time.
The severity of Robertson’s injury is not known at this stage with the defender playing a key role in Scotland’s qualification for Euro 2020.
