Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg insists Tottenham must improve after being held to a 1-1 draw against Fulham on Wednesday.
Ivan Cavaleiro’s 74th-minute header cancelled out Harry Kane’s first-half opener as Spurs missed the chance to climb to third in the Premier League table.
Jose Mourinho’s men have now dropped 10 POINTS from winning positions this season.
And Hojbjerg wants his Tottenham teammates to be braver when taking the lead in matches.
Hojbjerg told Amazon Prime Video: “It’s very disappointing, I think we have to do better.
“It is difficult to speak right now because of the emotions.
“More bravery, more focus in terms of organising the team and being solid as a team, it doesn’t mean you have to stand in your own box and defend.
“It means the team is compact, the team is close to each other. There are many details that we have to do better.”
Tottenham had the chance to double their lead when Heung-min Son hit the post in the 71st minute.
And just three minutes later, Fulham grabbed a deserved equaliser as Cavaleiro headed in Ademola Lookman’s cross.
Hojbjerg added: “I am happy there is a game again in four days [against Sheffield United] so we can show a reaction and show we are better than this, but I don’t want to speak too much.
“There’s a long way to go. We are still very ambitious, we are still very solid and hungry as a team and we will keep going.”
Tottenham have failed to hold leads against Newcastle, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Fulham this season.
