Everton assistant Duncan Ferguson fears Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered a hamstring injury after he was forced off in their FA Cup win over Tottenham.
The Toffees striker limped off in the 55th minute of their stunning 5-4 FA Cup fifth round victory over Spurs on Wednesday night.
Ferguson told BT Sport: “It looks like he tweaked his hamstring. We’re not quite sure.
“It could be a wee bit of trouble for him.”
Calvert-Lewin had scored and assisted a goal each before breaking down in the second-half.
Last month, the striker missed three weeks of action due to a hamstring strain.
Calvert-Lewin had netted four goals in his last six games before suffering another injury setback against Tottenham.
And the England international notably went straight down the Goodison Park tunnel with an Everton physio when he came off, as opposed to sitting on the bench when he was replaced by Seamus Coleman.
Davinson Sanchez gave Tottenham a three-minute lead in what turned out to be a goal-crazy game.
Everton found themselves 3-1 up inside 43 minutes thanks to goals from Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Tottenham pulled one back through Erik Lamela, before Sanchez made it 3-3 just two minutes after Calvert-Lewin had left the pitch.
Richarlison restored Everton’s advantage in the 68th minute, before Spurs substitute Harry Kane equalised late on with a fine diving header to force extra-time.
And another substitute then played his role to perfection when Brazilian ace Bernard played a smart one-two with former Tottenham midfielder Sigurdsson and fired the ball past Hugo Lloris, sending Everton to the quarter-finals.
