Manchester City have only Bayern Munich to worry about in their quest to complete quadruple, talkSPORT told

Manchester City have just Bayern Munich to worry about in their quest to complete an unprecedented quadruple.

That is the view of talkSPORT pundit Micky Gray, who believes City have the quality in their squad to go all the way with current Champions League winners Bayern Munich their only real challenge.

Pep Guardiola’s team brushed aside Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League earlier this week before leaving it late to beat Everton in the FA Cup to keep their chances of winning FOUR major trophies this season alive.

A 2-0 win over the Toffees after goals in the last six minutes from Ilkay Gundogan and substitute Kevin De Bruyne, who only came on in the 80th minute, saw City secure a third successive FA Cup semi-final spot for the first time since 1932.

And Gray believes the ‘unstoppable’ Citizens’s only concern right now will be Bayern in the Champions League, even though they do have to overcome Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of that competition first.

“Not one player at Man City has got an injury at the moment,” Gray said of Man City’s incredible strength in depth. “They all want to play so it’s great for Guardiola as he can rotate his squad.

“The XIs that he keeps picking – whatever competition they’re in – is so strong.

“You look at the bench today and it was absolutely unreal. It’s only that Bayern Munich game that would worry me.

“They’ve got to beat Borussia Dortmund before that.

“They’re probably favourites for the FA Cup, League Cup, League is tied up and the players look fresh and want to keep going.”

Gray continued to suggest that City’s incredible squad could spur them on to unprecedented success this season.

“We talked before about the ‘Galacticos’ they had on the bench,” he added.

“You bring a couple players on and when you have someone like Kevin De Bruyne you know he’s going to create opportunities.

“His finishing it off brilliantly.

“Who’s going to stop Man City? I feel for Everton but Man City keep marching on.”
