Tammy Abraham will have his sights set higher than a summer transfer to West Ham, according to Simon Jordan.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to listen to offers of around £40million for the England striker, who has started just three matches since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in January.
Despite Abraham’s lack of playing time, he is still the Blues’ top scorer with 12 goals in all competitions this season.
talkSPORT’s transfer guru Alex Crook revealed has revealed West Ham are ‘very interested’ in signing Abraham.
But talkSPORT host Jordan insists the 23-year-old is good enough to play for Manchester United or Barcelona.
He said: “Tammy Abraham will get the Premier League factor in terms of the shine on him.
“Playing for Chelsea, being a number nine in a place where there aren’t many number nines you would look at it and say, ‘yeah, they can operate at this level’.
“Tammy Abraham can operate at that level if he’s given the opportunity to do so. That opportunity is not going to come at Chelsea.
“So it now becomes about the economics of how this boy goes out to the right club for him.
“I don’t think, with due respect, it’ll be West Ham because he’ll have different aspirations.”
Jordan added: “I could see him at a club like Barcelona or a club in Italy or one of the top six in this country.
“This boy could play in the Manchester United side.”
Chelsea have lost just one Premier League match under Tuchel and have climbed into the top four while reaching the FA Cup final and Champions League semi-final.
They have done that without Abraham, something Jordan was keen to point out.
The former Crystal Palace owner said: “If he played [regularly] for Chelsea, he’d score more goals than Timo Werner.
“The problem is no one can have an argument with Chelsea right now because Thomas Tuchel has come in and hit the ground running.
“He’s lost one Premier League match in a freak game against West Brom.
“They’ve got to the Champions League semi-finals, they’ve beaten Man City in an FA Cup semi-final, they may well win the FA Cup, they may well win the Champions League.
“That’s been without Tammy Abraham. So there is no argument we can put forward that Tammy Abraham is someone that Chelsea are missing.”
