Kylian Mbappe is seeking major assurances before committing to Paris Saint-Germain with a potential move to Liverpool or Real Madrid still on the cards.
Mbappe continues to be linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer with just one year remaining on his current deal.
The Frenchman’s goal in a 2-0 victory against Brest wasn’t enough to secure the Ligue 1 title, which came as a massive disappointment considering PSG were huge favourites heading into the 2020/21 season.
It’s been another impressive individual campaign for Mbappe, with a return of 42 goals and 11 assists in 47 games domestically.
With his contract expiring in June 2022 a move away from Paris is a definite possibility, with reports stating that Real Madrid or Liverpool are at the top of his preferred destinations.
Leading football agent Bruno Satin spoke to French TV station Canal+ on a potential move, saying: “My feeling is that he’s ready to leave.
“I also have information which says that Mbappe and his family have an agreement with Real Madrid.”
Real Madrid are reportedly keen on shipping off Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard this summer, meaning a big money signing could be on the way.
The striker, who will be gunning for glory at Euro 2020, has previously spoken of his admiration for Real Madrid.
He dropped some huge transfer hints amid all the speculation, saying: “Everyone knows how profoundly attached I am to the club. I have always been very thankful towards the president, my different coaches
“What I want, is to win, feel like I am somewhere where I can win, where there is a solid project around me.
“The footballing project is essential. I want to feel like I am part of a team that is going to do something
“Then, up to us to show what we can do, we are talking with the club, we will see what happens. In any case, I have always been happy here and I have had four exceptional years here, we are very clear with the club.”
Mbappe added: “The club knows my relationship with it, this city, this country.
“We are going to do things in the way they should be done, in one way or another.
“I cannot say what needs to be done, I am just a player, but I think that people have seen, everyone has seen.
“When everyone sees, it is easier to draw conclusions, but there is no problem. We lost the title, but now, we have to concentrate on the future.”
PSG’s struggles are sure to have Mbappe questioning his next move, will the pull of Real Madrid be too hard to turn down? Time will tell.
