Meanwhile, talkSPORT ‘s transfer expert Alex Crook revealed that Man City is Kane’s preferred destination, with Tony Cascarino labelling the England man the ‘perfect fit’ for Pep Guardiola’s side last week.
Cascarino told talkSPORT: “For Manchester City this summer, it’s who becomes available, can you buy him and will he fit into the way you play…
“Now, I think only a Harry Kane ticks all of those boxes.
“He will do things Pep wanted from Aguero, to be a much better defending player for the team, to get in positions, make it awkward but then be available in the box and have incredible work rate.
“I don’t see too many like that.
“Erling Haaland is seemingly just going to be way too expensive and someone might say Kane is going to be as well, but I’m not so sure because he’s 27, nearly 28.”
Kane has made his name as one of the world’s best strikers during his time at Spurs, scoring a sensational 220 goals in 334 appearances for the club.
His preference is to remain in the Premier League but it is understood one unnamed foreign club is also interested.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have issued a statement in regards to the Kane developments.
The north London club said: “We have a season to finish and we want to finish it as strongly as possible.
“That’s all everyone should be focusing on.”
