Gareth Southgate has been warned to manage any potential animosity between Chelsea and Man City stars ahead of Euro 2020.
The Blues beat the Citizens 1-0 in the Champions League final last week with England internationals Phil Foden, Kyle Walker, John Stones, Raheem Sterling, Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount featuring.

All seven players were selected in Southgate’s 26-man squad for Euro 2020 on Tuesday with their campaign kicking off against Croatia on June 13.
And former England striker Dean Ashton recalled the tension he witnessed between Chelsea and Manchester United players in the Three Lions’ camp after the 2008 Champions League final.
He told talkSPORT: “Will there be any animosity between the City and Chelsea players?
“I was in the squad after the Chelsea and Manchester United final and that didn’t feel nice at all.
“That’s something Gareth has got to work hard at in terms of these players are coming back with a few of them absolutely delirious and a few players as low as you can get after such a massive final.”
Southgate has been credited for improving the morale among England players since his appointment in 2016.

Ashton believes Southgate will not have a problem managing any issues within his squad.
He added: “So he’s got a lot of work to do in that sense, but from what I’ve seen, all the pictures, what I’ve heard, there is a totally different feel around the squad.
“That’s because Gareth’s worked very hard in the way the players approach it.”
