Tottenham will have to work exceptionally hard when they face Manchester United this weekend if they want to come away from Old Trafford with a win.
The trip to Manchester will cap off a hectic week for Spurs, who played Carabao Cup and Europa League clashes in midweek and now must take on the Red Devils.
Jose Mourinho has made no secret of how upset he is with the way their fixtures have been scheduled.
But once the players cross that white line, they’ll have to suck it up and give everything against a United side who appear to have ironed out the issues they had against Crystal Palace with two wins over Brighton in quick succession.
However, it may be an idea to not show Mourinho and his players this stat ahead of Sunday’s clash.
In their last 27 Premier League away matches, Tottenham have kept just two clean sheets.
And to make matters worse, the clean sheets came against sides who were relegated from the top flight last season – Watford and Bournemouth.
Meanwhile, former Red Devils boss Mourinho is winless in his last six away league games against sides he’s previously managed (two draws, four defeats).
Spurs have made an indifferent start to the Premier League season – winning one, drawing one and losing one.
The Red Devils have only played twice in the league this term, losing to Palace in their opener and then beating Brighton in last week’s drama-filled encounter.
