Fed up Arsenal fan praises Tottenham, wants ‘PE teacher’ Mikel Arteta sacked despite FA Cup triumph and replaced by Arsene Wenger

An angry Arsenal fan told talkSPORT he wants Mikel Arteta sacked and replaced by Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners have struggled this season and are down in 11th place after nine games.

Scoring goals seems to be the problem with just nine scored in the Premier League with star man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting just twice.

They again drew a blank on Sunday as their clash with Leeds ended goalless with Nicolas Pepe seeing red for a headbutt on Ezgjan Alioski.

Arteta may have won the FA Cup last season but Frank the Arsenal fan has had enough of him.

He told talkSPORT Drive: “I heard someone say about Arteta being a PE teacher. I completely agree. Arteta out, he hasn’t got a Scooby what he’s doing with that team.

“How long’s he been there now, a year? He doesn’t even know his best team. Get out of here and take Pepe with you, he’s garbage.”

When asked who he wanted to replace him, Frank said: “Wenger. Since Arteta has come into the club year we’ve won a trophy whoop de doo, we won the FA Cup, whatever. We’ve not progressed as a team.

“We are not a Champions League team anymore. Wenger got the top four every season without fail. We had some good players in that team and now look at the team we see players like Pepe, Maitland-Niles, Mustafi. It’s garbage.

“Ozil’s on £350,000-a-week in a pandemic. I’m losing my will to live with this club. It’s getting to me.”

The Arsenal fan even heaped praise on their north London rivals Tottenham following their good start to the season.

He added: “It kills me to say this but Tottenham look like a proper team. Harry Kane looks like the best player in the world. Aubameyang last season was class. Why isn’t Arteta playing him as a number nine?”
Frank seemingly forgot that Aubameyang played through the middle against Leeds on Sunday but did nothing to improve their fortunes.

Alex Crook believes Mikel Arteta is getting an easy ride at Arsenal compared to the scrutiny that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is receiving at Manchester United
