Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher were left in fits of hysterics as notorious hard man Roy Keane was caught applying his own MAKE UP at the Etihad Satdium.
Gabriel Jesus cancelled out a Mohamed Salah penalty but Kevin De Bruyne missed a spot-kick as heavyweights Manchester City and Liverpool played out an entertaining 1-1 draw.
The champions, fielding a four-man attack, took an early lead in a gripping Premier League contest at the Etihad when Salah struck after a foul by Kyle Walker on Sadio Mane.
City responded with a fine goal from the fit-again Jesus, but De Bruyne spurned the chance to put them ahead when he fired wide from 12 yards before the break.
Both sides had opportunities in the second half but neither could break through, meaning Liverpool dropped from first to third over the course of the weekend while City remained in mid-table.
Keane, who continues to be a box office drawer as a pundit, was renowned for being tough on the pitch and no-nonsense off it.
So the former Manchester United captain was mercilessly mocked by his fellow colleagues on Sunday night, with Richards uploading the footage to his Instagram account.
The 49-year-old made headlines for his comments on ‘car crash’ Kyle Walker for felling Sadio Mane and giving away the first-half penalty, but he also lambasted Sergio Aguero.
The Argentine striker was not even named in City’s matchday squad against the Reds as he is still sidelined with injury, but he was not spared from the wrath of the Irishman as he was accused of ‘piling on the pounds’.
He told Sky Sports: “My issue with Aguero when he came back [from a knee injury suffered in June] was he looked overweight.
“God knows what size shorts he was wearing. He did look really heavy. Sometimes you can be out injured and hit the ground running
“This idea that players need two or three months to get up to speed. I was worried when he came back he looked really, really heavy.”
Keane added: ‘It’s difficult to get up to speed, but don’t be piling on the pounds.”
