Chelsea piled the pressure on Liverpool as they moved to within one point of Jurgen Klopp’s side with a 2-1 victory over Sheffield United on Sunday.
Mason Mount and Jorginho’s goals were enough, either side of an Antonio Rudiger own goal, to get three points at Bramall Lane.

Earlier in the day, fourth place Liverpool were beaten 4-1 by Man City as the reigning champions may soon have to start looking over their shoulder.
Chelsea had a scare early on but were saved by a VAR decision after 13 minutes. A clumsy challenge from Ben Chilwell on Chris Basham saw referee Kevin Friend point to the penalty spot.
However, the video replays showed Basham was offside when he received the ball and instead it was a Chelsea free-kick.
It was the Blues who dominated the first half and were rewarded with a goal shortly before the break.

Mason Mount tucked away Timo Werner’s cutback from about 15 yards out and finding the bottom corner of the net.
Mount became the second youngest Chelsea player to score ten Premier League goals for Chelsea, aged 22 years and 28 days.
The youngest was Arjen Robben who was 21 years and 342 days.
The Blades were level after 53 minutes when Antonio Rudiger poked the ball past Edouard Mendy.

The defender played a blind backpass to his goalkeeper, who was on his way out to collect the ball – which rolled into the unguarded net.
The Blades were not level for long, however.
Chelsea were awarded a penalty after Ramsdale brought down Werner, given after a VAR check, and Jorginho calmly converted the spot-kick.
The Blues never looked like relinquishing control of the game after going back in front and held on to the 2-1 win.
