Frankie Dettori, Hollie Doyle and Oisin Murphy are among the top jockeys to have signed up for the inaugural Racing League.
The revolutionary horse racing competition starts this summer with over £2million in prize money on offer.
Six meetings, featuring six races over six consecutive Thursday nights will take place – with every race shown live on Sky Sports.
It will see 12 teams taking part, each consisting of three jockeys, two to four trainers and stable staff.
Each jockey will be able to ride in a maximum of 18 of the 36 races in the competition.
They will all be handicap races open to horses 3 years old and above with a handicap rating of 0-90.
Every race will be worth £50k in prize money and a total of 100 points.
Points will be awarded from first to tenth, with the highest-scoring team over all 36 races winning the league.
There are no fewer than five previous champion jockeys taking part, headed by Dettori and Murphy, as well as young talent such as Laura Pearson and Thore Hammer Hansen.
In addition to the prize money on offer, jockeys will also be vying for a £50k prize pot awarded to the three who score the most points.
Murphy, who will be riding for the team trained by Andrew Balding and Richard Hannon Jnr, said: “This is an exciting innovation and considering the prize money there should be fierce competition between the teams. I look forward to being involved.”
Hayley Turner added: “It’s great that the racing industry has decided to try something a bit different.
“I know the jockeys and the trainers are all really excited. I think it will help to capture a non-racing audience and be a fun event all round.”
