The race for the Premier League Golden Boot is on.
The 2020/21 season has started in extraordinary style with goals going in all over the place.
In total, there have been 144 goals in 38 games already this term – 40 more than at this stage last season.
It means the battle for the top-flight’s top scorer is already taking shape with some stars nearing double figures for the campaign just a few weeks in.
Last season, Leicester’s superb Jamie Vardy netted 23 goals to edge out Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Danny Ings of Southampton to the top gong.
Meanwhile, Manchester City maestro Kevin De Bruyne provided the most assists with 20 and his team-mate Ederson won the Golden Glove by keeping 16 clean sheets.
