Jose Mourinho once again proved he really is the ‘Special One’ on social media with another hilarious post after Tottenham defeated Ludogorets.
Harry Kane continued on his path to becoming Spurs’ greatest ever goalscorer as he notched his 200th for the club in a 3-1 Europa League win.
The 27-year-old joined Jimmy Greaves and Bobby Smith in Spurs’ 200 club in just his 300th game and if he keeps going at this rate he will not need too long to surpass Greaves’ all-time record of 266 goals.
Despite watching his players cruise to a comfortable win in Bulgaria, it seems as though the Portuguese was not completely satisfied with what he witnessed.
After their shock defeat to Royal Antwerp last week, Mourinho took to his Instagram page to post a sultry picture of himself with a caption underneath which was duly mocked.
Clearly a fan of self-deprecating humour, the 57-year-old repeated the feat this week and posted an equally grumpy picture alongside a hilarious caption. He wrote: “When you win but you don’t play especially well.”
Claudiu Keseru threatened to make it another uncomfortable evening for Spurs following their slip-up in Belgium last time out, but Giovani Lo Celso’s goal just after the hour made the game safe.
The win, where Gareth Bale continued to improve, helps them get a grip back on Group J and with the reverse game against Ludogorets – the weakest team in the group – they should have no problems progressing.
